Anti wrinkle Treatments

We provide safe and effective anti-wrinkle injections for both men and women at our aesthetic clinic in Esher, Surrey.
Anti-wrinkle injections are commonly used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows (frown lines), and around the eyes (crow’s feet). They can also be used to subtly lift the brows.

In addition to the upper face, this treatment can address a number of other concerns. These include bunny lines on the nose, a gummy smile, jaw slimming, excessive chin movement or dimpling, neck lines, downturned mouth, and excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).

Our approach focuses on natural-looking results tailored to your individual needs, often as part of a wider treatment plan to support healthy, confident aging.

Botox and Anti-Wrinkle Injections and How they Work

Anti-wrinkle treatments involve injecting small quantities of Botulinum Toxin (Botox) a naturally occurring protein to temporarily relax facial muscles responsible for wrinkle formation. This safe and effective procedure smoothens out wrinkles, fine lines and crows feet helping patients achieve a fresher, more rejuvenated look.

Anti-wrinkle injections using Botox improves wrinkles by targeting the underlying cause to their formation which is the repetitive muscle contraction which occurs over time as we age. By relaxing specific muscle groups we can both soften existing wrinkles and prevent them from worsening.

What to Expect During your Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Your appointment begins with a detailed discussion in which you share your concerns and pinpoint the facial lines and wrinkles that matter most to you. The practitioner will assess these areas thoroughly during your consultation, considering both your aesthetic goals and medical history to develop an individualized treatment plan. Once this plan is agreed upon, targeted injections are administered with precision, ensuring that your specific areas of concern receive appropriate attention.

Treatment Areas

Frown lines, Crow’s Feet & Forehead lines

Frown lines, also known as 11s,  appear as vertical creases between the eyebrows. They develop primarily due to repetitive muscle movements and are further accentuated by natural aging, which reduces skin elasticity.

Crow’s feet are the fine lines extending from the outer corners of the eyes. They are mainly caused by habitual facial expressions like smiling and squinting, as well as environmental factors such as sun exposure, which accelerates collagen loss and skin aging.

Forehead lines, seen as horizontal creases, result from the repeated lifting of the eyebrows for expressions such as surprise or curiosity. Over time, these movements contribute to the formation of these wrinkles.

Each of these 3 areas are assessed individually to tailor a treatment plan that targets the specific muscle activity responsible for the wrinkles, ensuring natural and effective results.

Jawline Slimming/ Masseter treatment

Jawline slimming, commonly achieved through masseter treatment, addresses the enlargement of the masseter muscles which can contribute to a more square jawline. These muscles, essential for chewing, may become overdeveloped due to factors such as genetics, habitual clenching, or grinding of the teeth, resulting in a more pronounced and angular facial structure. By administering Botox injections directly into the masseter muscles, the treatment works to reduce their size, thereby softening the jawline and creating a more balanced and harmonious facial contour. This targeted approach not only enhances aesthetics but can also alleviate discomfort associated with jaw clenching and teeth grinding.

Chin

Treating the chin with Botox focuses on reducing unwanted dimpling or wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that cause these changes.

No-Knife Neck Lift

Neck treatments primarily target the appearance of vertical muscle bands, known as platysmal bands, which become more noticeable due to repetitive muscle movements and the natural loss of skin elasticity. Over time, the effects of aging, sun exposure, and changes in weight can contribute to the formation and deepening of these lines, resulting in a less defined neck contour. By precisely administering botulinum toxin into the specific muscle areas, we can relax these bands, leading to a smoother, more refined neck profile and improved balance between the lower face and neck.

Lip Lift & Gummy Smile

The lip lift treatment focuses on restoring youthful proportions by subtly elevating the upper lip, which may elongate over time due to aging or genetic factors. This procedure addresses an imbalanced facial aesthetic by shortening the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip, resulting in a fuller and more defined pout.

Gummy smile treatment targets the excessive display of gum tissue when smiling, a condition often caused by overactive upper lip muscles. By precisely administering botulinum toxin injections to these muscles, the treatment reduces their hyperactivity, ensuring that the upper lip elevates to a more balanced level. This adjustment not only minimises the appearance of a gummy smile but also enhances the overall harmony of your smile, delivering natural and aesthetically pleasing results.

Downturned Mouth (DAO)

A downturned mouth, where the corners of the mouth droop downward, can create a perpetually sad or tired expression. This condition is often caused by the overactivity of the Depressor Anguli Oris (DAO) muscles, which pull the mouth corners downward. Botox can be used to relax these muscles, allowing the corners of the mouth to lift naturally. The procedure involves injecting Botox into the DAO muscles, resulting in a more neutral and pleasant mouth appearance.

Bunny Lines

Bunny lines are the fine wrinkles that appear on the sides of the nose when you scrunch or wrinkle it, resembling a bunny’s nose. These lines develop over time due to repetitive facial expressions and the natural aging process, which leads to decreased skin elasticity. Botox injections can effectively reduce the appearance of bunny lines by relaxing the nasalis muscle responsible for these movements. The treatment involves administering small amounts of Botox into the targeted areas on either side of the nose, resulting in smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.

Migraine Treatment

Botox is an FDA-approved treatment for chronic migraines. In this treatment, small amounts of Botox are injected into specific areas on the head and neck—typically around the forehead, temples, and back of the neck. This helps relax the muscles in these regions, reducing the tension that can often lead to migraine attacks, and many patients find that their headache days become less frequent and more manageable over time.
