What is Tear Trough Filler?
Tear trough filler is a non-surgical treatment designed to reduce the appearance of dark circles, hollowness, and tired-looking eyes. As we age, the area beneath the eyes can lose volume, making shadows more prominent and giving a fatigued appearance even when you’re well-rested.
By carefully injecting hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler into the tear trough (the groove between the under-eye and upper cheek), we can restore lost volume, soften shadows, and create a fresher, more youthful appearance.
How It Works
The tear trough is one of the most delicate areas of the face. Using a soft, smooth dermal filler, typically containing hyaluronic acid (a molecule found naturally in the body), we subtly restore volume to the under-eye area. This not only reduces the depth of the hollow but also improves light reflection, helping to diminish the look of dark circles.
This treatment is expertly tailored to suit your anatomy and requires a deep understanding of facial structure to achieve natural, undetectable results.
About the Procedure
After an in-depth consultation with Dr Raj, the area will be cleansed and prepped for the treatment. A cannula is then used to precisely place the filler in the tear trough area. The treatment is quick, usually 20–30 minutes, and discomfort is minimal.
Results are immediate, though some mild swelling or bruising can occur, which settles over a few days.
