What is SkinPen Microneedling?
The SkinPen is an innovative and remarkable treatment designed to address numerous aesthetic concerns which is suitable for essentially all skin types all year around.
SkinPen microneedling needling is the market leader amongst all microneedling devices which harnesses the natural healing mechanisms of the skin to address a variety of concerns. It involves the use of a medical-grade device equipped with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin’s surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin’s natural repair processes, promoting collagen and elastin production.
How Does SkinPen Microneedling Work?
- Collagen Induction: The tiny, controlled injuries induced by SkinPen trigger the skin’s collagen induction response. Collagen, a vital protein responsible for skin elasticity, is produced in abundance, promoting a firmer and more supple complexion.
- Enhanced Absorption: The micro-channels created during microneedling enhance the absorption of topical serums and skincare products. This allows for better penetration of active ingredients, maximizing their effectiveness in nourishing and rejuvenating the skin.
- Improved Texture and Tone: SkinPen microneedling addresses a spectrum of skin concerns, including fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and uneven skin tone. The procedure fosters a smoother and more refined skin texture, resulting in a radiant and youthful appearance.
- Minimal Downtime: SkinPen microneedling is renowned for its minimal downtime. Patients typically experience mild redness for a day or two, making it a convenient and accessible option for those with busy lifestyles.
